Yearly School Picture Wall Decor

I wanted to make a wall decor for my kids school pictures to be displayed.  I found a thin piece of wood that I could stain and attach vinyl letters/numbers, and also have room to attach their photos.  I wanted it to look a little rustic so I attached a rope through the middle and spaced out clothes pins for each years picture.   Along the top, I attached the vinyl for their names and along the bottom I attached the vinyl for each K, 1, 2, 3, etc.

Wine Cork Snowmen Ornaments

I had a jar collecting of Wine Corks, and I was waiting to find the perfect project to use them for.  I decided to make snowmen, by painting them white and using a permanent marker to make the faces and buttons.  For the scarfs, I used some scrapbook paper that was Christmas themed.  I will attach a small loop on the top and ribbon to finish them out.

Keto Fried Chicken

My husband has been doing a keto diet lately and wanted to try out a keto pasta and sauce he had found, so for the meat we decided to try to make a chicken parmesan.  We had a pack of pork rinds and crushed them up and used them as the breading and then placed them in boiling oil on a saucepan until fully cooked.  Was a great substitute for breading and tasted just the same.  Very simple and quick to make.

Creamy Jalapeno Dip

We grew a ton of jalapeno peppers this year and they are so much hotter than the ones from the store.   I made this dip last weekend and it was a big hit.  We’ve put this stuff on everything!!  We’ve used it as a chip dip, put it on baked potatoes, and on sautéed zucchini.  It’s so delish!  Just throw everything together in a food processor and blend it until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors mix together.  I have a hard time waiting!!

Easy Tomato Appetizer or Side Dish

Our neighbor had come over with lots of tomatoes for us out of her garden and they were all ripe and needing to be eaten soon.  So we decided to slice them up and sprinkled salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and shredded mozzarella cheese on them. We had placed them on a baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed it with oil.

Cruise/ Anniversary Scrapbook

We went on a cruise for our 10 year wedding anniversary and I had a lot of pictures that I wanted to make a scrapbook for .  I found a cute nautical scrapbook at the craft store, and paper that was on clearance, so I decided to start putting it together.  This project went pretty quick because the pictures were in order so I could group them by day etc.
